Late summer nights are for passion, romance, and sometimes… fiery duels. Join us for a red-hot concert of dueling double-concertos by Vivaldi, Dall’Abacco, J.S. Bach, and Telemann. This evening of dazzling agility features Alan Choo and Susanna Perry Gilmore in Bach’s Double Violin Concerto, as well as René Schiffer and Rebecca Landell in Vivaldi’s stormy Concerto for Two Cellos. Flautists Kathie Stewart and Daphna Mor steal the thunder with Telemann’s Concerto for Flute and Recorder, with its famous Polish folk-inspired finale.
