Bach Mass in B Minor
and BACHANALIA Mini-Festival
April 4April 8, 2025

Bach’s magnificent Mass features a large and colorful orchestra, including several unusual instruments. Praised for her “revelatory performance” (Opera News) of Bach’s sacred works, conductor Jeannette Sorrell leads the festive forces – including trumpets, timpani, strings, choir, and soloists.

PRE-CONCERT TALK with visiting scholar Michael Marissen, 1 hour before each performance.

“Glorious… an absorbing performance – luminous playing, genuine emotion, and tasteful drama.” – CLEVELAND.COM
