2. IRA Distributions – Donors 70 1/2 years and older can make a tax-free distribution from their individual retirement account to Apollo’s Fire. Donors can make a qualified charitable distribution of up to $105,000 each year without tax penalties. For donors 73 and older, this gift may also qualify as one’s required minimum distribution.
3. Gifts from Donor Advised Funds – Many Americans have opened donor-advised funds (DAFs) to maximize their philanthropic impact to the charities they love and take immediate and full advantage of the tax benefits available to them, while also distributing their gifts to the charities they desire on the timeline they desire. Apollo’s Fire welcomes distributions of all sizes from DAFs.
4. Donating appreciated securities directly to Apollo’s Fire may allow you to claim a federal income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock on the day it is donated. 5. Estate Planning: Legacy gifts made through your will or estate-plan express your love for music and help to secure AF’s future, while offering tax and financial advantages to you and your estate. The Ritornello Society (Annual Fund)
A ritornello is the recurring theme in a baroque concerto. The annual supporters of Apollo’s Fire are recognized with membership in the Ritornello Circle as well as a variety of benefits.
Apollo’s Circle ($100,000+)
- Highly personalized recognition opportunities based on the individual donor’s interests.
Conductor’s Circle Helios Circle ($50,000 – $99,999)
- Underwrite an entire production, CD, video recording, or tour project.
Conductor’s Circle ($25,000 – $49,999)
- Underwrite a concert performance, or sponsor two or more performances (includes recognition in all materials, complimentary tickets, and a poster signed by the musicians).
Mount Olympus Circle ($10,000 – $24,999)
- Sponsor a guest artist or sponsor a concert performance (includes printed recognition and a backstage opportunity to meet the artist).
- An invitation to the annual Major Donor Dinner.
Versailles Circle ($5,000 – $9,999)
- Sponsor a core musician (includes printed recognition and a backstage opportunity to meet the artist)
- Invitation to an intimate recital and cocktail hour and AF musicians
Esterhazy Circle ($2,500 – $4,999)
- Sponsor a Young Artist Fellow (includes printed recognition and a backstage opportunity to meet the musician).
- Invitation to private donor events.
Medici Circle ($1,000 – $2,499)
- Invitation to a working rehearsal and meet and greet with musicians.
Brandenburg Circle ($500 – $999)
- Early Access to concert tickets.
- Invitation to exclusive post-concert receptions.
Buckingham Circle ($250 – $499)
- Recognition in printed programs and on website.
- 15% discount on Apollo’s Fire merchandise.
Supporter Circle ($100 – $249)
- 5% discount on Apollo’s Fire merchandise.
- Recognition in the Apollo’s Fire Annual Report.
All benefits are cumulative, except sponsorships.
Donor Benefits are honored from the date of their first gift through a 12 month period.
