Apollo’s Fire believes that all people, regardless of location and economic status, deserve to share in the inspirational and transformative powers of classical music. In 2017, Apollo’s Fire and Jeannette Sorrell launched the bold new Community Access Initiative, with the generous support of the Cleveland Foundation, the George Gund Foundation and PEG’S Foundation. The goal is to break down economic barriers to attendance, making world-class baroque concerts and multicultural concerts accessible to diverse audiences. The Community Access Initiative has served over 40,000 youth and adults in Northeast Ohio – through Presto Seats, free student tickets, and outreach programming.
In Chicago, Apollo’s Fire launched the CAI in 2021. It is supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council.
FREE Family Concerts
Apollo’s Fire Family Concerts spark learners of all ages in 45-minute interactive programs peppered with singing, dancing, clapping, and more. Since 2002, Apollo’s Fire has performed many popular Family Concerts in family-friendly venues, including local museums and libraries. AF’s famous “Instrument Petting Zoo” ends each program when the audience swarms the stage to try the instruments.

School Workshops
Thanks to the support of generous local funders and donors, Apollo’s Fire musicians work directly with over 2,000 local public school students annually. Our in-school workshops and masterclasses provide unique learning opportunities, designed to reinforce and extend classroom learning. Musicians lead students in learning new vocabulary, singing and dancing along, and experiencing music from a variety of cultures and historical time periods.

FREE Family Nights
On FREE Family Nights, we welcome students and families from local public schools to share in the joy and passion of live professional music – for free! Each season, we partner with school music teachers, youth orchestras, and other community organizations to distribute free tickets to select programs.
Recent Family Night partner schools have included Shaker High School, Cleveland School of the Arts, Brecksville-Broadview Heights, Cleveland Heights High and Middle, Kirtland, Akron School for the Arts, Copley-Fairlawn, Cuyahoga Falls, Miller South, Media, Solon, and Avon Lake.

FREE Student Rush Tickets
Are you a local college student who wants to join us for an upcoming concert? Your ticket can be FREE! Apollo’s Fire provides hundreds of free tickets annually to students in local conservatory and college music programs.
Check in at the Box Office (located at the concert venue) 30 minutes before each program for these free tickets!
Discounted Tickets for Students, Seniors, & Young Adults
We want everyone to share the joy of live classical music! Apollo’s Fire has a strong commitment to making concert tickets available and affordable to ALL people, regardless of income. Current discount tickets include:
- Students: $10 tickets are available in advance, now in all price sections! Available to children and students under the age of 30.
- Young Adults: Audience members under the age of 40 save $5 on tickets in the A or B price sections. Call 216-320-0012/800-314-2535 or choose “Young Adult” when purchasing online.
- Seniors: Audience members over the age of 65 save $5 on tickets in the A or B price sections. Call 216-320-0012/800-314-2535 or choose “Senior” when purchasing online.
$12 Presto Seats
Presto Seats are the “best kept secret” at Apollo’s Fire! DID YOU KNOW that you can join us for any local concert for only $12? These deeply discounted tickets are based on availability; seating will be designated by Apollo’s Fire. Presto Seats go on sale beginning three weeks prior to each concert – ORDER EARLY!
Requests for specific seats are not eligible for the discounted rate. Tickets may only be purchased by calling the Box Office at 216.320.0012 x 1. Patrons are limited to two (2) in-person Presto Seats per purchase. All sales are final, and Presto Seats may not be exchanged. Tickets will be emailed or held at the door.
