Make a general gift, or choose to direct your gift to a specific area

  • The Annual Fund
    Donations to the Annual Fund support the concert season, including AF’s extensive education & outreach programs (The Community Access Initiative). Ticket sales cover less than 50% of expenses, so your gifts are crucial!.
  • Campaign to Secure the Future
    “Secure the Future” is AF’s reserve fund managed by the Cleveland Foundation. This fund helps ensure that AF continues for years to come.
  • The Artistic Initiatives Fund
    This fund supports Artistic Director Jeannette Sorrell’s artistic initiatives and special projects. Gifts are directed toward special projects, creative new programs, and performance fees of AF musicians.
  • Chicago Concerts – Windy City Series
    This fund supports AF’s concert series in Greater Chicago. All Illinois donors at the $100 level or above receive a 1-yr membership in the Chicago Friends of Apollo’s Fire. Members receive invitations to AF Soirées (house concerts) in Greater Chicago. In addition, in the 2022-23 season, members also receive 2 Bring-a-Friend Coupons for each concert of the Windy City Series.

2. Donate Appreciated Stock and avoid paying capital gains taxes while getting a deduction for the value of the donated stock. Contact us on transferring stocks and other securities – Michael Walker at 216.320.0012 x 2 or mwalker@apollosfire.org

3. IRA Distributions – If you are 70 1/2 years or older, you can transfer up to $100,000 from your IRA each year to a qualified charity or charities without incurring income tax on the withdrawal.
