J.S. Bach liked to let his hair down at the famous Zimmermann's Coffeehouse in Leipzig, where he performed lively music by his admired colleagues Vivaldi and Telemann, as well as his own favorite compositions. Jeannette Sorrell and five friends set sparks flying with Bach's Brandenburg Concerto no. 5, Vivaldi's zany "Goldfinch" flute concerto and the wild "La Folia" ("Madness"), and Telemann's humorous "Don Quixote" Suite.
Johanna Novom leads the pre-concert talk 1 hour before the performance,
